You are using a outside service to book your disney magic vacation and at the beginning you are required to put 200.00 down as a deposit, and the trip has to be paid for 45 days before you leave. Now every now and then you email the person to say please make a payment and all is fine and dandy. But you decide to add another night at a different resort and through emails you say book it. You get an email back saying that your booked and come to find out that you are charged for the room already. Now normaly this would be fine. But in one of my original emails I asked the question "how does the 1 night stay need to be taken care and when by" was not answered.

So I guess the one thing is to specify before saying book the reservation. I am waiting on an email and or call back to find out why.

I mean I know the room is now paid for, but I just made a 300.00 payment. Geez...

Room only reservations require a 1 night deposit. Since you're only staying one night, the deposit equalled your entire bill, so yup, you have it paid for, but there wasn't anything your TA could do. The deposit is required separate from your package (it's 2 separate reservations in the Disney system).

When I made our reservations for 11 nights plus the dining plan I was told that they would have to do two seperate reservations: 1) 10 nights plus the dining plan and 2) one extra night. I had to pay the $200 deposit for the 10 nights and the total amount for one night. It made sense to me and didn't consider it a big problem. At least it's less money I need to think about coming up with NOW, so it works out great for me. Hope this helps. By the way, I booked straight through Disney so it doesn't have anything to do with your travel agency at all.

I understand all that, but I was not told before that the room only ressie would have to be paid now. I think it would have been nice to have know or said to me "I can book this, but the room only would need to be paid before booking."

Sounds to me your ta just wasn't very professional and should have explained this before to you . I agree with you. At least now you know where the money went and that it was required by Disney. I would just email your ta and explain that they are not to charge anything else before seeking your approval. That's a big thing to leave out especially since you asked them what they were going to do as far as payment. Oh and I would also be looking for a new TA.If you need a recomendation you can pm me.

Everything gotten taken care of. There was just some confusion going on. No harm done..
