Has this ever happened to you?

I received a Pinpics Trade Request on Sunday (12/21), which I accepted. The pin arrived today, and it is the wrong pin!! I've been a member of PinPics for about a year, and this is the first time this has happened. I e-mailed the man I traded with, and told him I'd return the incorrect pin to him in exchange for the correct pin. Has this happened to you, and if so, what did you do?

It has. I sent an email to the person and told them what happened. Fortunately for me, the pin they sent by accident was just as acceptable as the one the trade was made for. He offered to switch or to leave it as is. I decided it wasn't worth the problems of switching.

I have rec'd a wrong pin a few times. And once I sent the wrong pin!
What has happened in my few times is we set up another trade.

yep - been the recipient once but it all worked out. We just did a 2nd trade because I oved the accidental pin too.

I sent one once also. As a matter of fact my very first online trade. The person was very gracious to me and understood that I misread pinpics. It was a pin with different versions. Worked out in the end also and I got a great tutorial from a knowledgable pin trader.

I heard from the trader yesterday, and he apoligized a million times. Apparently he had made two trades on 12/21, and sent the two pins to the wrong people. Thankfully, he had two pins of the one he was to send me, so he sent the second one to me, and I returned his pin. Hopefully he'll be able to get back his other pin.

I think it would be a nice thing to do to go into the PinPics comment section and report that an error was made but the person was very apologetic and corrected the error as soon as he became aware of it. This should be considerd the same as Positive Feedback on eBay.

Okay, really stupind PinPics question: How do I leave comments for this trader? I've never done this before, and would love to do it for him. Thanks!

Don't leave comments like this on pinpics. The moderators do eventually delete those. The comments on pinpics are meant to relate to the pin, not the trader. Leave the reference on dizpins (if it's a good one). There's not an area for leaving comments, though.
