Has this ever happened to you ?

Thank you to all of you who replied, I now know that it's just gonna be us from now on. We enjoy WDW way too much,:goodvibes to let anything spoil our good time. Im sorry that the rest of you have had some bad trips as well. I guess we all have to learn from our mistakes, and be sure not to repeat them.

I haven't taken anyone to Disney and had it happen, but yes it has happened. My kids would be thrilled if someone would take them with and pay for everything (as would I). We were always the parents who brought kids with. Just don't bring the child that gave you trouble with, there are many kids who would be grateful and happy about a trip. Don't let it damper your generous spirit.

We took DS best friend a couple a years ago. I did tell him (and his parents) that we would pay for the trip (airline ticket, food, room and tickets into parks) anything else, he would need to bring money for that. We planned the trip a good six monthes out, and I would keep asking "do you have money for the trip?":confused3 The answer was always, "sure do" or "i'm saving all my money. I'll have close to $200." :thumbsup2 OK! We get there, all he has is fifty dollars. Buy a couple of things for his parents, then hints at all the things he wants us to buy him. :scared1: Of course we got him a couple of things, but not ALL that he wanted. Shoot, my kids didn't get all that they wanted. :sad2: I think what upset me the most, he didn't even say thank you. Right after that trip, he and my son stopped talking. We haven't taken anyone since.
