Has their ever been a slipper exchange?

I just bought a pair last month from V.S., but who knows, maybe the dog will come into the house and take my pair and I will have to join in LOL.

I am fairly new here so I don't know what exchanges there are in place already, but I was wondering if any one can tell me if there has ever been a slipper exchange?

I thought of this because I got the cutest pair of Tinkerbell slippers in the mail from my SiL. Also all the stores are becoming flooded with slippers from really fancy ones that are almost too pretty to wear, to fun and funky character ones, and everything in between. The prices aren't horrible either at places like Kohls, Payless, Target, etc.

Anyways like I said if anyone can tell me if this has been done before I'd like to know how it went and if it's being done again.
If it hasn't, is it a good idea or no?

I might be interested....I saw some "Tinkerbell" slippers in an Avon Catalog the other day and thought they were really cute. Are these the ones you got?

I have Pooh slippers on right now, but could always use another pair!

YES!!!!! Those are the ones. They are on my feet as I type! They are really very soft and comfy. When I got these (and when I saw all the varieties popping up in the stores) is what made me think of doing this type of an exchange.

I just hope too many people don't get slippers for X-mas and then not want ot participate. But then again you can always use more.
