Has the view changed for a standard view at Jambo?

We had a two bedroom standard view booked for Jambo in June. I requested to be in a certain area which were all pool views. I wanted to be near the elevators to be near the pool. When we checked in the CM said our room was not ready and I said did I receive any of my requests. I requested certain blocks of rooms, not a specific room. She said no you have a savannah view. I did not want to be this far since I knew some rooms had been reclassified from savannah to standard. I asked if she could check for a pool view and she said basically you should be happy you did not get a parking lot view. I told her standard was not parking lot view.

After much back and forth from the CM to room manager in the back we did get a room in an area I requested. I am not complaining about my request not being filled, but since when did a standard at Jambo become parking lot view. I know value can be parking lot, but is standard now also parking lot? I can't imagine where those rooms would be.
She kept telling me I'm lucky not to get a parking lot view as if she was threating me with the view. I did request this since I have rheumatoid arthritis and walking is difficult at times.
Any help on this would be appreciated for next time.

I also was told in May by a CM at Jambo about how lucky we were to get a Savannah view when most standards were parking lot views. I think they still don't know what the differences are between the DVC and the hotel rooms.

Unless DVC took over and renovated more rooms it's just not possible. The only DVC rooms declared that have parking lot views at Jambo are value's.

There are no standard views that are parking lot view at Jambo. That is impossible because the only size rooms that can have parking lot view are Value point cost rooms. Persons at the front desk often assume things that are not true because they apply to the hotel and not DVC rooms and they just assume the two are the same.
