Has the line for Anna & Elsa improved?

Last time we went to Disney, Frozen had just come out so there were enormous lines for A&E. We weren't able to get a FP+ this time out for our October visit. What kind of line should I expect during the day? Or if we rush to meet them at EMH rope drop? We also will be going to MNSSHP -- I don't want to waste time meeting princesses when we could be meeting villains but if the line will be very short then it might be worth it. Thoughts?

You could use the Disney app or another app (ie Lines) to track the wait time patterns for this attraction before you arrive and have a sense of if any time is better than another.

Our trip was almost six months ago now - but lines for Anna & Elsa were 90 minutes, ten minutes after park opening.

Keep trying for a FP--Good luck!

Generally the line averages about an hour these days. Totally reasonable, IMO. We waited just as long in the past for Rapunzel and Merida.

Don't always trust the wait times posted. On Sat around 11:30PM right before extra magic hours my brother and I were at the parks finishing up any last minute rides and saw that Rapunzel was listing at 10 mins wait so we walked into the line. Got inside and looked over and saw that Anna and Elas's line was even shorter (almost completely inside the gallery room). The wait for them was listed at 45 but we knew that wasn't possible with a shorter line than the one being listed at 10 mins so went back out and tried that line instead. We were right. While the wait was slightly longer than the Rapunzel line but it was no where near 45 mins long. It ended up being closer to 15 mins and that's most likely because each princess takes time to really talk with everyone.

Last year during MNSSHP I meet them right after the parade with a similar 15-20 min wait. I watched the parade from Liberty Square and started moving as soon as the last float went by. Now the day that I went it was also kinda rainy so that may have discouraged the crowds a bit but it's wasn't that bad.

Last year during MNSSHP the A&E line was pretty short later in the night. I want to say about 11:30 it was less than 30 minutes on our night.

On my app I can see it is posted at 85 minutes now.

On our trip last August, it was always 90 minutes whenever I walked by, day or night

In the evenings, especially closer to close, and during the hard ticket parties, the wait times are generally listed higher than they actually are. I know I have gotten into lines late and found the wait to be at least half of what it was listed. Sometimes I think they just stop updating the times in the evenings. I have only been on one or two attractions during the day when the wait was more than 10 minutes less than the listed time. Usually they tend to be 10 more due to delays at loading or unloading.
