Has the Anna & Elsa M&G become a 'hug & run'?

I'm not trying to alarm anyone... But I am curious.

I've been MIA from the boards for a few weeks now, but managed to snag FP+ for when my Niece and Nephew come next week. I ever many people saying a 1-1.5hr wait for the girls was worth it because you got so much time with them... But now that they're in MK is it just a quick photo op & move on? I, myself, want to interact with the girls, but not if means cutting into the kids' limited time.

Interesing question. I guess luckily for me, my DD is so shy around the characters, she just likes her hug, pic, autograph, and then moves on. Tink and Cinderella are the only two she'll talk to.

Based on what I've seen no its not a hug and run. Its a full interaction and the girls are chatty.

You wait in that line just like everyone else you deserve the interaction, don't cut yourself short for someone else's experience. Everyone has the opportunity for an equal experience.

Thanks, I'm most worried about the kids in my group. Like I'd readily sacrifice my time to give those two more, they're true-believers still.

They can spend as much time as they want. Ok well a reasonable amount of time, 10 minutes and the CM's may try to push it along. They are really good about not rushing the interaction but keeping the line moving efficiently.

I just met with them this weekend and it was definitely not a "hug & run". They are adorable and sweet and chatty with you (even with me, a solo 30 y/o adult! lol). The kids will really enjoy it. Anna would walk over to the line and pull the next person over with her while she talked with them. Elsa's dress is absolutely beautiful in person!

Glad to hear it! :D I'm very insistent on getting a photo of the sisters with my sister... When we were really little I had strawberry blonde hair and she was platinum blonde, so we were excited to see these girls were the same. We have photos of us at age 3&5 in matching pink and blue Easter dresses, 16&18 in not-quite-matching pink&blue prom dresses and now we can have a 'grown up' version :D

Plus I made custom decor that the character usually wanna stop and point out, I'd just hate for it to mean them ignoring the kids a little. Maybe we'll split our party in 2? Sister and I can do the photo plus show off decor, then grandma and my husband can take the kids separate for their hugs and chat.... Hmm.....

That's so cute! That would make a lovely mothers day present in a frame with all 3 side by side.

I bet it would for a lot of moms :)
My mom however hates Disney characters... Not entirely sure why, but I know we never did character meets as kids.
Now when I mentioned getting a picture with Woody and Buzz holding a 'Happy 2nd Birthday' sign for my nephew.... She was like "oh I'm not doing that - no way!"

We were there Tuesday of last week, and the M&G was terrific. It was much more than a hug-and-run, for sure. My daughter just loved it, and, since it was the main thing she wanted to do, it was great. We were there for, probably, five minutes. We had great interactions with Tiana and Naveen, and with Aladdin and Jasmine, but A&E were definitely the best!

We love Naveen! He's always a riot. My husband won't wait more than 10minutes for ANYONE but him :D

I would say that the pressure is still on the girls to make the meets awesome, so I wouldn't expect a love & shove from them. Also the average greet is supposed to last 70 seconds :thumbsup2 I have had some experiences of the "love and shove" and it happens more when either, the set is running out of time, or I'm also not feeling that chatty (being a 24 year old that is, the characters will try and talk more with a shy child), or when a character just isn't feeling it that day.

I wouldn't be worried too much about Anna & Elsa, they've always been superb!
