Has The Stitch Ride Been Improved Yet ??
Saw it opening day 2 years ago, and was very disappointed.
It was so "Lame" IMO.
Thought it was quite stupid !
Bummer, it could be alot better....
Does anyone know if any changes have been made since its opening??? :stitch: :stitch: :stitch: :stitch2: :stitch2:

I saw it in September 06 for the first and probably last time. It was pretty lame.

I actually loved the mid show in Alien Encounter. It was worth doing just for that. To see the amazing animatronics of Sir, to hear Tim Currey's voice ooze pure evil and to see poor Skippy. :thumbsup2 The pre show and the actual show ere ok but the mid show was fantastic.

Still the same. If you smelt Chili Fries burps, then it hasn't changed a bit, I'd say.

I'm so disappointed! I'm leaving in two weeks for my first WDW trip in 5 years. Last time I was there, I really liked Alien Encounter so I was bummed they changed it and even more bummed that what they changed it to isn't at least as cool as the original. Of course, I'll ride it anyway and formulate my own opinion, but you guys are usually right on!

Another AE fan here. If you liked AE, then chances are, you'll dislike Stitch.

I feel like I'm talking about those can perfumes from the 80s. "If you like Georgio, you'll love Primo!"

I thought I was the only fan of AE :)

Not at all! You should look it up on YouTube. There's a video of the original attraction and lots of people saying that they too were fans of the original AE.

I absolutely loved AE... and I really hate Stitch... it's rather boring and the story doesn't make much sense at the end.. :confused3

It was very dumb, no one in our group liked it at all.
Maybe its geared towards 10-14 year old boys, that seems like the audience that might like it.
All of Tomorrowland Needs a Major Uplift, Buzz Spin and Space Mountain are all thats decent there....Rest is getting outdated IMO.

:3dglasses :surfweb: :confused3 :sunny:

Well, the ending changed in 2005.

The original ending had Stitch landing on the Astro Orbiter and scaring a human (non-toon) couple.

The current ending has Stitch landing at Cinderella Castle.

That was really funny, thanks for the chuckle !

But honestly, the Stitch Ride has to go, along with lots of stuff in Tomorrowland, its just so "corny" now.......

Like I mentioned before: MY NEW CAMPAIGN IS
"DITCH THE STITCH"

:cool2: pixiedust: :sail:

The ride, yes, but NOT the character himself--he's a great character!

Also, FYI, I do like SGE.

You're totally welcome. I'm proud of my 80's "heritage." :p

I didn't like it and thought it was the worst ride. Our DS4 even asked when the ride was going to start :confused3. IMO, I think they should have had something better to replace Mission to Mars with rather than Stitch.

I guess I'm the oddball... 23 year old female, and I loved it (although the chili dog burp is NASTY, end of story). :lmao: Then again, I like corny jokes and corny songs, and all of it. I could ride Jungle Cruise and IASW all day long and not get tired of either. And I love Stitch, so I'm admittedly biased. :teeth:

Anyone who hasn't seen it, should. If you hate it, you never have to go back, but you might be like me: expecting to hate it, and actually loving it. Worth a shot, anyway, especially if the line is short. :wizard:

HEY, Hey, hey...

Let's not condemn all of Tomorrowland. The People Mover is still the best!
