Has Sci Fi Improved Any?

We ate there in December for the first time and we enjoyed it very much. We had burgers and fries. We finished up with hot fudge sundaes.

We go to Sci-Fi every trip! We LOVE the atmosphere, a great cool place for a break. Last trip was Dec 05, SUPER! DP, had the whole kazoo~ apetizers, shakes, shrimp pasta, ribs, and dessert, Fun place, servers were terrific, and one of them was their first day. Imagine at Christmas! Great Job, great food, great Fun!

We reluctantly ate at the Sci-Fi in January and it was very good. a couple of years ago we ate there and it was horrid (food not cooked fully, cold meals, poor service) but this time it was good. I would go back. I guess all the complaints over the years finally sunk in and they did something to improve it. Jay

We went last week, with fear in our hearts after reading bad reviews, because dd10 really wanted to try it and we were on the dining plan so we figured it was worth a shot. Overall it was a very good experience. The atmosphere is great, sitting in the cars is cute. I made an 11:15 adr figuring that the initial opening crush would already be seated but there would still be plenty of cars available. This proved to be the case and we waited only a few minutes to be seated. We stuck to basics--dd got onion rings and the burger, I got the salad and the bbq chicken sandwich, dh got the soup and burger and ds7 got the kids' veggies and dip and burger. Everyone liked their food. dh, dd and I got milkshakes, which our server said could count as a beverage or dessert on the plan. Kids weren't allowed shakes but ds liked his kids' sundae. We were too full to order any additional dessert, but we did end up getting some kids' fruit cups for dessert, which were fresh cantaloupe and honeydew with grapes. Our server didn't have a ton of personality but he was attentive and got us everything we needed. The whole meal took about an hour, which was perfect because we had a lot to do in the park that day. I don't know that we'll go every trip but we enjoyed this visit and if it appeals to you I would definitely say give it a try.

I wouldn't waste my Dining credits there. Go for something nicer-ate there once, won't go back.
