We had snow showers earlier today, but heavier snowfall is due in the next few days. :headache:

Icy stretches on untreated surfaces, like roads and pavements (sidewalks) are already treacherous. As the weather is so bitterly cold, it's just getting impacted instead of melting.

Police have called for people to avoid leaving the house unless it is absolutely essential, as the UK's big freeze shows no sign of abating.

Looks pretty, but roll on Spring...:sunny:

We get very little snow here in Portland, and usually after Christmas, but last week as I was getting home from a trip to Disneyland we walked out of the airport and it was snowing. Seattle really got hit.

We have snow in the middle of England. The main roads are clear and OK, it is just the housing estates that are bad. I nearly crashed my car this morning as I skidded on sheet ice (luckily I was doing about 5mph so I didn't crash into anything but it was very close.)

I am in Toronto. We have had a few flurries but nothing significant. I would love to see a big snowfall before Christmas.:goodvibes After January 1 I can take or leave snow, but I just love when everything is white and beautiful for the holidays.

I live in the NJ suburbs of Philadelphia. We had snow on Thanksgiving Day. It was a little more than what was expected, but no accumulation to speak of. Then it turned to rain and was gone.

No. We did have a dusting on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, but that is it for St. Louis Missouri.

No snow expected at all.

We don't get much snow here in Orlando. Sometimes I miss it but most times.... :rolleyes1

I'm watching it snow right now - we have about a foot on the ground and it has been snowing all day

We've had snow since the end of Oct.
Most of it disappeared Mon, Tue, Wed of this past weeek when it rained! buckets of rain!
Not very fun over the snow pack.
But it did snow Thanksgiving, and then a light dusting yesterday.
So about a foot total on the ground

In two weeks, no snow for us we'll be in FL

Wait... let me check... nope!

We had some very sparse flurries in the wee hours on Thanksgiving night/Black Friday morning but no real snow yet and none in the forecast. Actually, we're supposed to have a warm up this week and might even see 50 degrees one last time this year!

We can mark the calendar that the 27th of November, 2010 was the first snow fall that hit the ground and stayed this season in this part of Vermont. Not much, about a half inch or 3/4 inch but that was this morning and it's still on the ground at 5:15 this afternoon.

Wish I could say I like it but I don't so I will continue to ignore it and make like it isn't there. Denial is your friend.

I was surprised that there was no snow for the Reno/Boise game - looked cold though.

We got snow last December here in the Bay Area, while we were in WDW, so we missed it. (We rarely get snow, although there is a 2800 ft "mountain" near us that gets snow most Winters.)

I live in the Seattle area and we had snow on the ground from Sunday to yesterday morning. We are supposed to have a cold, wet, snowy winter.

We got about 8" a couple weeks ago of heavy, heavy, wet snow, about half of that melted. We got some freezing rain and then a couple inches of snow on Wednesday. Most of the roads have recovered but the neighborhood roads are still pretty slippery. We have more expected mid-week. :cool1::banana::cool1:

We had our first snow on thanksgiving morning. We got maybe 1.5" its gone now. I dont see any more in the forecast :(
