Has not yet Sunk in

I made a call today to the closing company for the 82 OKW points I purchased. They informed me that the documents had been sent to Disney and that they should have me in their system within 3 to 5 days.

Needless to say I am quite excited .

I then made a call to MS and requested info on logging into the members only website. It was not long before I had logged in and taken a quick look around. Quite impressive (at least to a newbie). Within a short time I should receive my members package. Anyone know how long this should take?

All that is left to do is plan and dream about all my trips home.

As my subject line says it has not quite sunk in yet.

Congratulations. I'm not sure that it ever entirely sinks in. It has remained really cool for us even after quite a few years.

It was not long before I had logged in and taken a quick look around. Quite impressive

IMHO, you will get over that feeling once you realize how limited the DVC site is in terms of what you can do on it. When it gets some on line account management tools I will agree.

Good luck with your new contract. Enjoy those BIG rooms.

We will be receiving our closing documents any day now.

How long did it take from the point you received the closing documents to the point you are at now (where the closing services company submitted the final docs to Disney)?

It took about 3 weeks from the time I received the closing documents until they were submitted to Disney. However, it needs to be considered that this was over the holidays. So yours may not take quite as long.

Overall I was quite happy with the speed of the entire process.
