Has it really come to this? Wider toilet paper?

Strangely enough, a bidet with an air dryer is probably a better choice. Work well regardless of behind size.

Yes, I can confirm that the “wide” rolls are really just what used to be normal width. They’re the width of a standard toilet paper holder.

This is just a way to make you think you’re getting more value after they decreased the size.

There are countless products that have quietly decreased their sizes. Like how ice cream containers have gone down to 1.5qt, sugar is now 4lb instead of 5, etc. And then you’ll occasionally find an ice cream carton that’s “huge value half gallon size” or “wow, now 25% more” but that’s really what it always was before.

I walked into a Dunkin Donuts recently and I noticed right away hoe much smaller the donuts got. I could not believe it! I had not been in a DD in well over a year and was shocked at how much smaller they got. I mentioned it to the cashier and she just shrugged.

It's not because butts are getting bigger, however, there has been a recorded fact that there are a lot more huge rectalians out there. That may account for the wider need. :scratchin::yes:::laughing:

Ohhh, I have a new slogan idea for Charmin. Queue the music...

I like big butts and I can not lie....

I dunno, no question butts are getting bigger :teeth: but I'm thinking of hygienic practices when wiping. :duck:

If sheets are wider, then you might not have to take a longer strip of paper and roll it up, kwim?

So maybe, ultimately, you'll use the same amount of paper, but it won't be as messy, perhaps. :crazy2: :tiptoe:

Funny but most bathrooms I use also have a sink and soap to wash my hands.
