Has GCV been refurbished recently?

I'm at GCV now, and the room is in immaculate condition! Everything looks brand new, from the carpet to the drapes, furniture, appliances, and tile in the bathroom. I've never stayed in a DVC room that is this nice and clean. If they haven't undergone a recent refurb, then either the guests or housekeeping/maintenance are treating these villas quite differently from the villas I've stayed at in WDW.

Not for sure, but I don't think it's had a refurb yet. The resort only opened in 2009,I think.

Seems the VGC furnishings were higher quality from the very beginning.
