Has DCA ever had a capacity closure?

I am attending a work conference in OC mid December and a work friend and I are staying an extra day to go to DL. We will get there around 4:30 on Sat the 12 th and leaving at 4:30 pm on Sunday. My plan is to get 2 day single park tickets and go to DCA sat evening, and go to DL at RD on Sunday. This is the first time I've been at a busy time. DH and I usually avoid busy periods, but I'm going to be there, so I thought why not. With all the talk of how busy the parks are this year with the 60th, etc, I'm wondering if we will even get in to DCA Sat evening? Has DCA ever had a capacity closure? Oh, we also have dinner planned at Ralph Brennan's at 6:30, so I want to be sure to get back in after that.
Does this sound like a good plan? I'm not interested in seeing WOC, but hoping we can get on enough rides Sat night to make it worthwhile.

The only time I know of for sure was when we were there for the recent 24 hr event in May. It was only closed for a short time.

It's extremely rare and usually there's a special reason for it. Another time I think it may have closed was for the last day the Twofer tickets (buy a ticket for one park and get a free day at the other park on the next visit) were valid.

I was there that day. They honored the second day on the ticket at DL. Some in my party had used their DCA ticket the weekend before and basically faced a crowded DL because apparently no one else did DCA first. They stopped doing the So Cal ticket offer that way 7-8 years ago, so not likely to reoccur.

We got there over Columbus Day weekend during the "free birthday" year. I cannot remember what day was our first day, but we were entering DCA as AP holders, and they actually made us get handstamps, because DCA had closed to capacity the day before and they wanted to make SURE we were covered if that happened that day.
