Has carrot cake cookie gone downhill?

The carrot cake cookie at HS was one of my all time favorite snacks. But then I heard rumblings about a recipe change that made it much worse than before.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Do I need to brace myself for disappointment?

I tried it in October. The icing is very rubbery! I couldn't tear off a piece because of the weird icing puck.

I had the same negative reaction when I tasted it in mid-July, just after DFB's description of how it's changed. I couldn't believe myself when I threw half of it away. The filling tasted like rubber, not sweet/cream cheesy at all. I was so sad-I used to love it.

Thanks. Can't keep track of all the abbreviations. I thought DHS was the abbreviation for that park.

Yes, DHS is the one I use, but I’ve seen so many variations of different abbreviations over the years that I don’t think there are many standard ones.
