Husband heard bc is old. Just booked there and wondering if we should switch to yc instead.
We have a 5 year old dd if that helps. Not sure if yc is too "adult" .

If you are talking about YC/BC you would be better off posting your question over at the regular resorts board not the DVC resorts board.

If your question is about BCV, they are due for some work next year I believe.

They were last refurbed in 2008-2009. They are rumored to be undergoing refurb starting next year, with BC going first.

We stayed at YC in April and didn't find it to look "old". Our room was pristine actually and we loved it. The hallway floors were a little beat up but considering the traffic that goes through, it is to be expected. :goodvibes

From what I understand, the BC is slated to begin room refurbs in January/February 2014, with the YC starting after the BC is complete. This, of course, is not set in stone and it can change between now and then.

we were at bc in April and the room was fine. it was very clean and nice. small if you are used to the monorail resorts but that's just the way it is. i would say that its the hallways and common areas need to be maintained and updated. we had a fairly long walk to our room including a large area with a circular sofa and 2 long hallways. they were worn.

We stayed at the BC this past June, no issues, rooms were in excellent shape. :)

sorry I must've clicked on wrong forum. Thanks for the help though!!
