Has anyone's BRP actually gone down?

I have WL booked at BR for 2 weekend nights in November and don't expect it to go down since it is sold out for my dates (I believe).

With the new discounts today, has anyone checked and found that their BR has actually gone down?

I am wondering too. Does the new code count as a "public rate"? Anyone seen their BR rate decrease since the code release?

If I remember correctly, the room only code had moderates at $119 plus tax for my time range (Nov 17-26) and my BRP is $121.54 which includes tax. So, as predicted, the room only code does not beat BRP.

Disney knew exactly what they were doing with this room-only rate. It's a few dollars above the best rate. Oh well, I still saved money so I can't complain.

someone at disney spent too much time looking at the holiday inn website. i believe "best rate" was coined by them a couple of years ago; just a lure

I suspected this might be the case. Still, I did get WL for 11th and 12th November (a Soap Stars weekend? - means nothing to me, I'm a Brit ;) ) I paid $245 a night including tax with BRP, which isn't *that* great IMHO, but at least I got a room.

Disney did really know what they were doing with this code vs. brp. Could you imagine how much work it would have bene for them to actually lower all of our BRP ressies? It is only a few $ higher per night for the room only code. But for the 4/night/5day deal, it comes out about the same on my ressie. By room only for POFQ 10 days is $1048, the package with 1 day MYW tickets for 2 adults is 1172. The MYW tickets price is roughly $120, so the room portion would be $1052.00. Wow, my BRP saved me a whole $4! Thanks disney, i might use all that savings to treat myself to something real nice. :rotfl:
