Has anyone used their Disney Visa to book a vacation package?

Do you have to book dining too, tickets and room to make it a package and be able to use the 6 months no financing option? I am assuming ROOM ONLY is not considered a package? g Do you know if you can get AP's with your package? THANKS

Room + tickets qualifies as a package, so APs should do it for you.

OH wow that is great. Now… is their a min. night stay involved? Like we are going to stay 5 nights via our dvc points but want to add on some nights at a Disney resort. Now my next question is this… can we get a 1 day ticket but put that towards a DVC AP at guest relations? Or does the ticket have to match the amount of nights booked?

Also, can you book any of the deals currently going as a package. I know they have a percentage off of rooms right now.

No there is no minimum. You can also buy tickets for as many or less days as you would like. You can buy a 1 day ticket on a five night stay if you wish.

Not exactly. Room-only offers cannot be used for a package deal. But you can book any other offers (ie: free dining).

You can select a room only offer on the disney website, then add tickets to it, it becomes a package.

Okay so if I book a stay..add a 1 day ticket…. it becomes a package that qualifies for the promotional 6 month deal? Maybe I will just call Disney Card customer service.

Sorry to hijack but I have a related question. I just applied for the Disney Visa last night and was approved but won't receive my card for a couple weeks. If I book a vacation and pay the deposit with a different card can I then pay off the rest with the Disney card? Or do I have to wait to get the card and use the Disney Card initially?

Are you trying to get the 6 month no interest deal? I would wait to book if you can. I am thinking it all has to be on the card but I could be wrong. I bet if you called the chase disney customer service...they can tell you. Good luck.

I actually got on the chat on the Disney site and they gave me the number to call the Chase Disney support line. They told me to call Disney at 407-828-8101 after I get my card and said I had to ask for the "Walt Disney Travel Package" in order to get the six months at 0%. They said I couldn't book online to get the 0%.

They're going to overnight the card since I'm trying to beat some timelines here. Nothing like hurrying up for something that is six months away.

They told me to call Disney at 407-828-8101 after I get my card and said I had to ask for the "Walt Disney Travel Package" in order to get the six months at 0%. They said I couldn't book online to get the 0%.

The 0% financing offer is available for any payment you make over the minimum -- which I believe is $100. That can be deposit, final payment, or any interim payments made as long as the payment meets the minimum.
