Has anyone used the Resort babysitting service?

We're going to ASMovies next October and I'm wondering if anyone has used the Disney Resort babysitting service? Our boys will ber 9yo and 6yo at the time of our trip. I'm posting this on the Resorts board too.

Thank you so much! My dh and I would like to go to DTD for some "us" time, but only if the Disney babysitting service is truly wonderful, reliable, and above all, safe!

My kids were 5 and 7 when we took them to the Neverland club at the Poly. The kids loved it and did not want to leave at the end of the night. They also feed them dinner from a kiddy buffet set up inside the club. There are other clubs at WL, AKL, etc.

I didn't use the resort babysitting services, but I used the Fairy Godmothers which had equal qualifications (background checks, bonded/insured), but seemed to largely be "grandma" types as opposed to college students. We were very happy with the service. She game to our room at the Contemporary, brought toys, everything went great.

We too have used the Neverland Club and the Cubs Den at WL. The kids loved them both but the Neverland Club with the pirate ship was the best, so the kids tell us. As stated by others they did not want to leave and they thought this was another Disney attraction. Last time we used this service they were 12 and 8.

We used the Neverland club last year as well. When we told the kids (DD7, DS9, DD11) we were going back for Christmas this year, the first thing they wanted to know was whether they could go to the Neverland Club!

Its an expensive option, but we felt as though it was money well spent. Relax and enjoy, your kids will be in good (4-fingered, white gloved mouse) hands.
