I found decently priced round-trip non-stop tickets ($178) from Hartford to Orlando on Song. Has anyone used them? What were your experiences?

I have not used Song yet, but we have tickets for the 5 of us leaving on March 27th. I did a lot of research on them before I bought my tickets (I bought last September) and was very comfortable with purchasing because of their relationship with Delta (they are owned by them). What's nice is that I can use/earn Delta Sky Miles on Delta or Song. Also, Delta customer service was able to help me with Song questions. From what I understand, they are trying to be like Jet Blue, with a fun attitude. I also liked the fact that they have nicer seats and individual video screens. Flying with 3 kids (2 of them are really little) for cross country trips (L.A. to Orlando) should be a little easier on us with each of them having their own t.v. Hopefully someone else will reply with some first hand accounts:cool:

I've used Song on two round trips (EWR to MCO and back) and haven't had a problem. I found them to be clean, on time and have a nice flight staff. The seats are roomy (31" of legroom at least). You don't get snacks, but could buy them if you want. There's a pretty good variety. We just brought our own, though. We'll use them again.

Flown Song out of Logan several times now. Will be again in August. Nice crew members. On-time flights. Usually land early. We haven't had a plane with the TVs in them yet, but most likely those will be all done by this spring. I've used the on-line check-in and it's very easy. We've also used the kiosks in the airport. Very easy also.I've gotten good rates with Song. If JetBlue does better (by more than $5-10) then maybe I'll switch.

My sister just used them for her trip to WDW, she said they were OK. On the way home her flight was delayed a few hours so Song bumped the whole flight up to a bigger plane normally used for long flights, it had individual TV's and stuff on it.

Just used Song a few weeks ago out of Logan and loved them. Just don't be surprised if your plane doesn't have the tv's yet. Our flight down did not, our return flight had them and it was fabulous, it felt like the flight lasted 2 minutes. They were on time and very pleasant. No complaints!

I just flew Song from Bradley to Tampa last week. It was a wonderful experience. The flight was on time, the flight attendents friendly and the extra bit of room was great. We didn't luck out on getting the planes with the TV's, but they should be installed on all their planes by the end of March, so they say.

I've decided Song is now my favorite airline as Southwest just won't do seat assignments and I find it much less stressful knowing I have an assigned seat so I don't feel I have to rush so much.

One of the flight attendents mentioned to us that the new CEO of Delta isn't sure he wants to keep a separate airline within an airline, so if we want to keep Song flying - let them know how much you like them! I sent an email to Song(on their website)to let them know of my positive experience.

We have now flown Song for two round-trips from BOS to MCO. Both trips were great. Took off on time and landed early on both ends of the flight. The only thing was that all four planes we were on were not upgraded with the Tech stuff yet. We expected that on our end of Aug into Sept trip in 2003 but the trip we just took in Jan 2004 did not have the Tech stuff installed yet either.

We are flying JetBlue in Sept 2004 as they were cheaper then Song and their planes are new and all have the Tech stuff installed.
