Do they offer any discounts? save you any $$? I need any info or experience.
Thanks

DCL does not allow TA's to discount the price of a cruise. If they offer anything, it will be in the form of an on-board credit.

I didn't think mousesavers.com was a TA. They do have discount codes on their website for rental cars and private car services in case you won't be using the DCL transfers.

ETA: The mousesavers.com website has links to Small World Vacations which is a Disney specialist travel agent, but they are not one and the same. Small World has an on board credit offer which is similar to Dreams Unlimited. I would definitely recommend booking through a TA in order to get OBC.

Ok Thanks, have you used either small world or dreams unlimited and do you have a preference?

I have used Dreams Unlimited and had good service. I have not used Small World, so I cannot say anything about them one way or another. I just know both offer similar on board credits for booking.

A lot of people use Costco as their travel agent. Instead of an on board credit, they give you a % of your cruise fare back in the form of a Costco gift card. The % back is a lot higher than the on board credits offered by the other travel agencies.

I am new to cruising and to having a costco membership. How do I go about getting a costco travel agent? Is it a phone, internet or in person thing?

You can find information on the costco website. I believe they also have travel brochures at your local costco.

Mousesavers "supporting travel agency" is Small World travel. Different TA's offer different onboard credits, but generally they are about the same. A standard 3 night cruise usually gets you a $100 on board credit, around $200 for a 4-5 night cruise and $250-$500 on longer cruises. I saw one company (don't remember who it was) who was offering $1,000 on board credit, but when I checked on it, it was for the super duper 10-14 day European cruise with a ton of excursions. For a 3 night cruise it was just $100 just like my TA offered (Magic for Less travel).

I used Small World for my cruise which starts this weekend!!! They were very good in helping us with a group of six and our budget. This the second time we have used them and would recommend them.
