Has anyone used DealDash?

I've read about how it works, but am still a little skeptical. Has anyone here ever used them and gotten a great deal?

They say its a fair and honest alternative to penny auctions, but I don't see a difference. To me it's basically gambling that you will be the one to win the product. If you do, I am sure there are great deals to be had, but if not you either loose the money you paid for the bids or have to pay full price for the item to get those bids back.

I have never used, or "LIKED" Deal Dash, but they are spamming the crap out of me on Facebook. It appears that they mined the Facebook account of someone I AM friends with on Facebook, and they are spamming all of HER friends. I am one of them.

For that reason alone, I find them shady and won't look at their site.....

1. They are a penny auction, which tends to be a ripoff.

2. Going to "contact me" shows an office building address on Times Square in New York.

3. But the kicker shows them to be in Finland, according to a "whois" search

I agree -- getting tons of Facebook spam the last two days from them. Don't like it and won't use it.
