Has anyone used this lately. Is it really convenient? Can you skip the counter and go right to the garage? Thanks!

I have used it in the past but I do believe the first time you use it you still need to show your id at the counter. That was a couple of years ago but I thought it was still that way. could be wrong.

We used it two weeks ago for the first time and were able to go directly to the garage. There is a booth out there where you show ID and pick up your paperwork, then they tell you what number parking space your car is in. A word of warning though, check the price showing up on your print out from them! We almost left and I noticed our paperwork showed the price as $45 more than my confirmation. They corrected it right away when I went back to the booth, but I'm betting if we had left we would have been stuck with the higher price.

That's how it worked for us in 2014 (at MCO).

I already have a reservation with Budget. Could I sign up for Fastbreak now and be able to use it, or would I have to make a new reservation after signing up? I haven't used any company other than National for so long, I am not sure how other programs work!

Suggest signing up, then email or call & ask that they associate existing reservation. If not, rebook if you can obtain same rate.

Budget is not my favorite provider @ MCO by any means. However, our last few reservations have found their rates have been far below the other agencies, especially considering we book rates that include a 'free' extra driver.

For Fastbreak, you have to make sure you have all your driver's license and CC info is added to your account and fully updated. I find I end up using Budget about 90% of the time I am in MCO...prices usually end up being the best, sometimes by far.

We had a great experience with Budget Fastbreak last August. Went to the booth in the garage which had 2 very nice women in it, they gave us a choice of 2 vehicles, we told them what we wanted and off we went. It was our first time using Budget and would use them again. We have been very lucky with our rentals at MCO. We have used Dollar, Budget, National, Thrifty and Alamo and have NEVER had a problem with any of them.
