Has anyone used AcneFree?

I found AcneFree at a drugstore and decided to give it a try since the box says it compares to ProActiv. I've been using it for a week and a half and feel like it is clearing my skin up. The only thing is that these patches of breakouts right under my jawline seem to be dried up, but the red spots are still there. Any idea how long before they will go away. Those patches are the reason I really wanted to try the product. They weren't clearing up with my regular cleanser. I'd like to hear if anyone has used it and had success.

Thanks,

Liz

I've been using it for about 3 or 4 months and my face has never looked better! Keep it up, and be diligent!

My son's dermatologist says it takes a while for the red spots to fade. He didn't say how long, but they will eventually.

I wanted to revive this thread to see if anyone else has used it. I've been debating for months on buying it. This week it's on sale and I have a coupon so I thought it might be a good time to give it a try. Anyone else have experience with it, good or bad?

Me too... In general my skin is fine, but just under the jaw between my ears is sooo bad. Large under the skin "boils" but then never come up. Some whiteheads and black heads. I just don't know where they come from. It's been very bad since I went off the pill in December.

You can't tell from the front too much but I can't wear my hair up anymore and if I see a picture from the side it grosses me out...

I love it! I bought the jumbo sizes at Costco. It is supposed to be a 2-month supply, but it has lasted me more than 3 months so far.

I've read there's an adjustment period where it gets a lot worse before it gets better. Did that happen with you? I have very sensitive skin and I'm afraid it will make my face red. I have mild to moderate acne, which is at it's worst a week before that time of month

It actually cleared my face up within the first 2-3 days. I have never had an issue with my skin until I turned ahem.....40. And even now, it is a pretty mild case. I did notice a big improvement right away though.

My DS is 13 and he has tried both that and the Proactiv. Unfortunately for him it made his skin much more inflamed and very red and so dry that he was scratching it, which I was worried would lead to scarring. I ended up taking him to the doctor and he is on oral antibiotics and Retin-A now. He has an appointment for the dermatologist in October though and Accutane is being considered. My son's acne is moderate in severity though so someone with a milder case of acne may be able to use this with more success. I think the AcneFree worked better and was less irritating than the Proactiv, however.
