Has anyone used a guitarist or violinist at SBP?

Was it pretty?

We're thinking of doing a guitarist for the ceremony and then the pre-reception. Afterwards change to iPod for the reception.

But we're not sure if a lone entertainer is good or not for the ceremony and pre-rec.

It was Mary626 wedding video.I haven't seen her on here in a while,anyway she sent me a sample of her video because I wasn't sure who to go with for video.She used Stvs video.

We used a vioinist at SBP. He was wonderful. I remember reading that many brides couldn't hear him, but I sure could. I knew exactly when he started playing Canon in D. He did a great job afterwards as well playing a selection of upbeat Disney songs. We did not have our cake cutting @ SBP since we had dinner @ the California Grill.

I had considered using a guitar, but I decided the violin was more "wedding" to me.

I don't have a sample on a video that I can share here, however, we also had a violinist (at YC Gazebo and then on the Friendship boats) and he was absolutely amazing!

He played several songs that we sent sheet music for and on a few we had via CD he played along - very very talented!

We just got married at SBP and had the violinist that's included in the escape package. It was the same gentleman show in this thread. He was amazing. I could hear him playing perfectly. If Chuck ever gets around to editing our video (a friend taped the ceremony) I'll let you know if you can hear it well enough and I'll send ya a copy of the DVD. The only thing is, I don't know how far out that would be.... He wants to do some upgrades to his computer before he imports any more raw footage to edit.

Really though, you won't be disappointed with a violinist.

So glad to hear all this, we arent getting married at SBP, but outside at Italy and I was worried about being able to hear it! i'm sure it'll be just fine at italy too.
