Has anyone used a band provided by Disney?

We were told that we would be able to get a CD with music on it so we could decide to go with a Disney band. My only concern is that if we don't go with them, we won't have enough time to book another band...has anyone used a band that Disney provided? Were they good? I would consider music one of the 3 most important elements of our wedding, up there with photography, so any opinions would be great!

We had the Jazz Quartet and they were AWESOME. They played an amazing mix of music and they were perfect.

Sorry I can't say anything about a Disney band, but just an FYI we used a fantastic band for our company holiday party. It was the first party I've done at this company so I was worried that the music wouldn't be good enough. No worries - they were amazing! Even the hotel wanted a referral so they could recommend this band. They play all over Florida. If you are interested in an outside band PM me and I'll send you the info. Sorry I don't know about a Disney band

I think Janet2K had one of the bands for her wedding- or has attended a function or two with one of the Disney bands. She is an excellent source of information. Try contacting her, perhaps. You may want to check with your EM about the applicable charges from bringing an outside band in. If you don't have a budget, it might not be as much as a concern.

Remember also about the volume of the band in your reception hall. We attended a wedding with a live band- the music was wonderful. The acoustics were terrible. It was a marble room, and most everybody found it deafening.
