Has anyone try to add another day to 40%?

Ok we were thinking about adding another day to our Dec. trip which I booked with the 40% code and i already did the package of tickets and dining plan. I was wondering if anyone has tried to add and extra day and if so are they letting you and do you get the discount also on that day?

YUP! - but the CM will HAVE to talk to guest services to have this done.

Trekker did they discount the extra day for you I called and it was going to cost over $500.00 to add a day on I thought that sounded like I wasn't getting the discount on the extra day what do you think?

Staying at CR 2 adults 1-13 yr old and a 4-yr old with dining plan
I know the extrat day on the park hoppers was only like $5.00 and we are getting a standard view room in the garden wing so I just thought $500.00 was a little high if they used the discount what do you think?

Call back.. and then ask them to speak to Guest Services so you can add a day at the discounted rate. They might be resistant but you be persistent. If they refuse -- ask for a supervisor.

Does not sound like you got the discount - call again and ask for guest services.

We did extend without having to do anything more than talk to the CM and ask him to extend using our discount. Canadianguy did an entire post on how to get the discount extended and I was so nervous but it was easy!

Same here. Called and asked to extend by 1 night. CM did it no problem, and at the same discounted rate.

My AAA agent added an extra night to our 40% off reservation without any problems and the extra night did have the discount.

This may be a dumb question but for the chance to save some $$$ I will ask. What is the 40% discount and what and who does it apply to? I've searched on the board but can only find questions about adding to it etc. Am I safe to assume that all of you gobbled up the 40% deals by now as well? Thanks for any help, Sean

I actually just called and switched my 40% off code package from December to October and had no problems.

Changing from one season to another added on a bit more ($202) for the 6 nights and then I added on 1 more night (because I changed check in from Sunday to Saturday) and kept the discount.

I am one happy camper (well, actually, we're staying at the GF - so I am one happy Grander).

If we are talking about that 40% off code from a short time back that caused all that comotion, Yes... I was able to add a day through my TA with no trouble at all.
