Has anyone tried the Restaurant.com Hilton egift card?

Restaurant dot com is offering a $800 Hilton egift card + a $50 Restaurant dot com egift card for a total of $30. You don't make your reservation through Hilton. You contact a travel group to use the Hilton egift card and make reservations.

Has anyone tried this Hilton egift card?

I e got it not sure if it a good deal, I usually get 20-50 off my stays with it.

My understanding of the Hilton card is you get a certain amount off each night like $25/night, for example. You don't use it to get the full price off each night.

I have considered this deal, but so far I haven't done it.
