Has anyone tracked price changes over time?

Hi,

I was curious if anyone has tracked how much cruise prices increase from first release until sailing. I'm always a late planner and I'm wondering how much of a savings I lose out on. A friend of my books out more than a year in advance and I was surprised to see how low the rates seem to be. Thanks!

The was some fishy old site that had a graph of the price but don't think that exists anymore. The trends would vary if you did look. There was usually a trend upwards but there were drops periocially. Not sure if all the discounts for cast members, Fl residents and all that was included or if it just trended what the current rack rate for any give day was.

Cruisefish, but it got killed by COVID. I really liked that site.

You may not lose out any savings if you book GT rates. I watch a cruise to see how it is selling. It gives me an idea of future discounts. I’m currently watching the 10 day southern on the Magic next Summer. Price has been stable.

It depends on how important choosing your room is. You can always book and cancel.

Is this the July 25-August 4 cruise?? I’ve been eyeing this cruise also and on the DCL site it says it’s a 10 day eastern, not southern. Is this a typo or just the same thing??

This site always posts opening day pricing, if you just want to compare that to when you might be looking to book -

This was very helpful. I found the 2024 version here: https://disneycruiselineblog.com/20...l-2024-sailings-a-look-at-opening-day-prices/

With my placeholder and Costco booking, it looks like I just about ended at the opening day price, but I certainly could save some money.

Oh my bad, maybe it’s an eastern not southern, but yes that’s the cruise. The last time I did some of those ports they called it a southern.
