How rocky is the ride?

We were on the northbound stretch of the AutoTrain in Oct 05. The train does rock a little and there is some noise. Some stretches of track are a little "rougher" than others and you may have to be careful walking in the cars and hold onto the backs of the seats along the aisle. But other times the "rocking" is not bad at all. I do not find it annoying, but I'm sure some people do, its just a matter of what you are expecting. We'll be on the auto train in 3 weeks, I'll try to post back with a better description

We were on it in Nov 05 both directions and while it sways some and jostles some, it doesn't really bump much. Walking was the only time I really noticed it. I found it pretty smooth overall and it didn't bother me at all, (and I get seasick and used to get motion sick as a child).
