has anyone stayed in this house in Windsor hills

Its a 6 bedroom called Characters Corners and owned by Warren Dashwood. Looks good and has a good rate but just wanted to know if anyone has first hand experience.

Haven't stayed there but I checked the tax records and everything checks out with the ownership if that's of any help. According to the records he bought the house in 2008. It's overlooking the lake and quite near the clubhouse area. Have stayed in WH a few times and have been on that street but don't know any specifics about the house.

How do you check tax records. We are considering staying in a townhouse in Windsor Hills for our upcoming trip.

We have never rented directly from the owner before, and I am extremely nervous. It will be saving us $200.00 over the 3 bedroom condo we usually rent at Windsor hills, and we would have the heated splash pool too. Is it safe to rent directly from owner?

I first contacted them last week on Thursday, and they are asking for my decision today, because they have another inquiry for the same time. I believe they do, because my sister is traveling with us and sent a general inquiry through the windsor hills site. Although they want a $200.00 nonrefundable deposit, so I need to be sure.

I don't know how to check tax records, but I too was very, very nervous about just giving money to someone.

Here is the site of the owner that we have used for several years now and I have referred many, many people to her. There has never been an issue...she is wonderful, reasonable and her houses are perfect.

Go to : http://www.property-appraiser.org
Look on the left and four up from the bottom is Record Search. Just put in the owner's last name first and it will come up they own property and where it is. This site is only updated about every 3 or 4 mts so if they are new owners they make not be listed yet.
There's also the tax records site that shows if they've paid their taxes:

They are listed as owing a 3 bedroom townhouse on Maneshaw in Windsor Hills.

That would be great. You can let me know if its as great as it looks. I am taking my 3 kids and their spouses and my 4 grandsons. Ages 7, 3, 3 and 10 months.

i am here right now. house is very nice and quite big. windsor hills looks very nice but have only been here a couple of hours, haven't used anything or seen too much.house is exactly as you see on vrbo but bigger than i thought.

yes i would definetly stay here again.The only problem we had so far was the pool heat, as the pump was not running properly when we got here so pool is freezing, but managed to get it going so waiting for pool to warm up, might have to make a call tomorrow.
