I just thought I'd put my input in here. I for one love the cabins. My fiance and I have done 2 Disney trips together and both have been at the cabins and we love them. I have a feeling these would work well for larger parties because you wouldn't feel stacked on top of each other. Before we settle in our cabin we pick up supplies for making grilled cheese, pasta, anything we think we'll need. That 24 pack of water goes a long way and using the cabin when you want to for meals is a massive money saver. In a one week stay we squeezed 5 meals out of that cabin, and we're not people who always get 3 meals in a day. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware and dishwashing soap. And, if you do not want to eat inside, there's a picnic bench outside that's super-cute.
The fold-down bed is comfortable, we would spend some evenings pulling it down and watching dvd's.
The golf carts could be useful, but if you don't want to dish out that money, the buses work just fine. The campfire is a real treat, making smores, watching a movie, and Chip and Dale's special appearance- just remember your Bug-off, I've made the mistake of forgetting it.
Another bonus to the cabins is they are all separate, so it's nice and private and quiet(no leaking next door conversations!).
All together, the cabins are magical, and I'm not just saying that becaus eI got engaged there
