Has anyone stayed in a mini suite at BWPPI?

We usually stay at Desert Inn, but BWPPI is cheaper for our dates. I'm curious about 2 things.

1. Do the mini suites have doors separating the sofa bed from the rest of the room like DI? That makes it so much easier to get my little guy to sleep!

2. How is parking there? It's tight at DI, but it's free. (Is BWPPI free parking too?)

TIA, everyone! It's one of the few places on Harbor I've never stayed at. Just don't want to make a mistake with booking.

Nope, the mini suites don't have a door like the Desert Inn does. The parking is free and I wouldn't consider it to be tight. I think it's still one car per room like Desert Inn, but I've never had trouble parking there.
If the price is better I'd probably choose BWPPI, but if it's hard to get your little one to sleep in a open area like they have then I'd spend the extra to make sure the little guy slept.

Nope, nothing separates the beds from the sofa, BUT the BWPPI rooms were dark. You can get them to be pitch black. :thumbsup2

Also, you are allowed one car to park there and it is free. I didn't think the parking was tight at all, but we went at the end of April and I don't think they were sold out.

You can't beat walking out of your room and then right across the street to the entrances to the park. It was the best!

There is a low half-wall (I’m not sure how else to describe it) that separates the sofa from the other 2 beds. It keeps the person who is laying down on the sofa-bed from seeing other people laying down, but that is about it. If your son has trouble going to sleep, then be sure to get a room on one of the upper floors if you can handle stairs. Some of the parking spots on the bottom floor face toward the rooms, and there could be noise from the cars and light from headlights that might cause problems.

As for parking, it has gotten tight at times but we have always been able to find a spot to park.

As others have posted, there is no door. It's just a low wall and not a seperate room.

Yes parking is free. Parking was okay, but we had a rental sedan and not a monster SUV or truck.
