Lake Buena Vista Resort-Best Western????

Just curious what you thought of it and is it close to everything? I know its in the Walt Disney World Resort area but I havent been to Disney in ages so I really dont know what all that means lol. (dont I feel dumb)!!!

Any information would be helpful......Thanks :)

:D

I stayed there in August for 3 days...I was only supposed to be there for 2, but Hurricane Charley changed our plans. It's really close to Downtown Disney, maybe a half mile, if that. I would say it's fairly close to everything. There are a lot of restaurants in the area, and the resort itself has a Pizza Hut. There is even a small Disney Store in the lobby. It's a nice hotel, nothing unique about it, though. I usually stay at a Disney resort, but since I was invited to go on this trip by my girlfriend and her parents, I had little say in where we stayed. If you're looking for only a place to sleep at night, I'd recommend it. If you're looking with a Disney touch to it, stay at a Disney resort. Hope this helps.

Hi!

I was just there on 10/28 for one night and I thought it was okay...not great for a long stay though. My husband liked the lounge and my 3 boys liked the game room. The room was decent-sized (we did pay for an upgrade to a deluxe room though). Can't complain about the price ($79). Saw mold on the shower curtain and the faucet in the shower leaked. The bathroom is really small but we were okay with it for the night.

The lobby is nice...there is a time-share person there and they can be pushy.

All in all I would recommend it for a short stay.

Thanks everyone.....appreciate your input very much. Mom of sleepy etc lol....I did actually win it on priceline....first time using it and ended up with a 58.00 per night. Not sure if that is good or not....the price the Best Western site shows is 129.99. Guess by all your reviews...it wouldnt have been worth that lol.

Oh well...I am stuck with it so I will make the best of it....it is for 2 nights only....

Thanks a million....:)
