Has anyone stayed at the Grosvenor Resort at LBV?

Hi everyone! I'm new to your site and was just wondering if anyone has stayed the the Grosvenor Resort in LBV? Any comments good or bad would be really appreciated. We are off for our 1st visit to WDW in Dec 2005. Can't wait!!

We spent one night in the wings during the March Break. Our room wasn't the cleanest. I don't think I could have spent more than a night here. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the rug looked like it needed a good shampoo. The bathroom floor had hair on the floor from the previous guests. I must tell you, though, that the lobby and the rest of the hotel was pretty nice. We stayed in the tower only a year and a half ago and loved it. I think the towers might be a bit newer. We were off to the Dolphin Hotel for the rest of our trip and really enjoyed it there. If you are a government employee in Ontario then you are entitled to get the Dolphin for around $149 a night which is a fabulous deal. The staff at the Grosvenor were wonderful--very helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance of DTD which we really love. Overall, I would give the room a 4 out of 10; the rest of the hotel a 7 out of 10; location is 10 out of 10 for DTD and Pleasure Island .

Book a Tower Room and the Grosvenor is great! Our room was large, clean, had a fridge, service was really good... We also were able to see the fireworks from our window. The absolute best part was being the closest walk to DTD and Pleasure Island. We will return there again....
