Has anyone stayed at the BC lately?

I am staying at the BC in August and was counting on using the complimentary fridge and coffee maker. I just read in AllEarsNet.com today that the BC no longer offers fridges for free and coffee makers are no longer in standard rooms (only in delux rooms.) Is this true?

We were there in December and all rooms had fridges. We did have to request the coffee maker, but it was brought quickly at no charge. We will be there again in 2 weeks and I am sure nothing has changed. Don't worry and just know you will have a fantastic time!!

We were at the Yacht Club, it's sister resort the first of this month, had a fridge and a coffee maker, with coffee and tea bags.

Thinking of staying at the Beach Club in July. Does anyone have experience with the standard view rooms here? We once had a view of an ugly roof here above a maintenance area - this was the worst view we've ever had of the many resorts we've stayed at standard. Was wondering if other standard views are available here to request differently. Anyone? Thanks, Sharon

We are also staying at BC in July! Someone said to request a high floor over by the quiet pool for a view of some of the buildings at EPCOT. Someone even said they could hear the "British Invasion" from their balcony!

Standard view means just that. So you could get the roof view. I have stayed there several times on standard view and only gotten it once,.

We were at the BC last month.
Garden view. We had a coffee maker and fridge.

The view was fine.
(We have stayed at BC garden view several times before and still..no complaints on view)
