We are searching for a beach condo and have been offered what i think is a pretty good deal on a condo in the margate tower of kingston plantation. has anyone stayed here? it looks very nice online but i would like some real people reviews and i know you guys are the best to ask:):):)

We stay at Kingston plantation every June. DH has to go for a work conference, so we tag along for a free vacation.
We stay at the Hilton or Hilton condos. nice, but too small pool area. However, you can share the Embassy suites' waterpark area...good for smaller kids. A few restaurants at the Hilton, but only one place open for dinner.
Ask if you have any other questions.

PS-
go to alligator adventure at Barefoot Landing. Very reasonably priced and very cool!:thumbsup2

we are thinking of renting a condo in the margate building through a private owner. do you know if you can pay a fee to use the waterpark or gym? is there a free shuttle to the outlets? thanks for any info you can give us. :)

Check out trip advisor for other customer reviews. Great site to check before booking hotel reservations.

Have fun!

Was there last weekend. My cousin stayed in Embassy Suites. My Aunt and other family members stayed in the South Hampton building. These buildings are oceanfront. I was ten minutes away at Mytrlewood Villas. I went to their hotel every morning at 9:00am and stayed until 12 midnight or 1am. We had so much fun. We are still:rotfl2: laughing about all the antics that took place. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but added an extra night at the Kingston Plantation. In the Embassy suites you get complimentary breakfast and in the evening, you get a two hour happy hour. Kroger (grocery store) is near by for groceries. You will have a great time.

PS- you can rent two beach chairs and an umbrella for $30/day. If you have pool toys (noodles, buggie boards, etc.) at home bring them. Bring your cooler from home as well.

I do not know what the Margate tower is. There are a few buildings btwn the Hilton and Embassy, so I am guessing it must be one of those.
I believe you can pay a fee to use the waterpark, but it is really only good for little kids...I would say under 6 or so.
If you want to do a real water park, I would head up Hwy 17 a little ways to Myrtle Waves for a day.
You need a room card to get into the gym at the Hilton. I doubt you can use it if you are not staying there, but wouldn't hurt to ask.

we booked the margate at the kingston plantation today. the realty said that we could go to the gym and water park that it was part of our rental. i sure hope they are right. cant wait to go. anyone else who stayed here let me know how your stay was and if there is anything we shouldnt miss. thanks :)

Maybe call the Embassy and ask about using the waterpark while staying at Margate. That way you know for sure.
We really like Alligator Adventure. You can even get in a 2nd day for free, so try to plan it for early in your trip so you can go back towards the end of your trip. It is like $15 to get in and kids are free up to a certain age. Buy tix online in advance for a discount. Just google alligator adventure and you will find the site. Lots of animals there, not just gators.

We went the week of July 4th and had a nice time there. It was very clean and they offered a bunch of fun things to do for the kids. We enjoyed the water park area and the putt-putt. This is all included. The grounds are beautiful and there is a trolly to the beach. We never took the trolly but drove to one of the free public access lots and took all of our gear with us. Enjoy!

hi where exactly in the plantation did you stay? we are renting a condo in the margate tower through a realty and i have been getting conflicting information about the amenities. (like the water park and fitness center.)

We are staying there in the later part of August at the North Hampton building and heard great things. Friends of mine stayed there in June also in the Villas and had a wonderful experience. They highly recommend it here. There are a lot of activities and such for both kids and adults.
