Has anyone stayed at Club Intrawest Blue Mountain before?

Hey there, we are planning a spring weekend trip to Club Intrawest Blue Mountain, can anyone share some info/ tips of the place?

We haven't stayed at Club Interwest but have stayed at the Grand Georgian and Sierra Lanes by the Village at Blue Mountain.

We like to eat at Tholos and Copper Blues. We also like to get a drink at Windy's. We avoid Kaytoo.

We like to go to the Plunge! to swim. We swam outside on Good Friday, as we watched people skiing down the hill!

There are some good geocaches in the area if you are into that.

We found it small and nothing special. It was ok. We have never stayed at Blue M, but have stayed just down the road at Blue Mountain, it was much cheaper, and just as nice. Anyone can visit Village at Blue so we stay "offsite" but go there in the evening or afternoon.

We live nearby and Scenic Caves is ok. But its just part of the Bruce Trial and they really aren't caves. Blue Mountain has trail maps and you could find any trailhead and have very much the same experience for nothing. Gorgeous views along the trail from the top of Blue Mountain and, there are lifts up the mountain from the village.

Plunge! is on the smallish side. We mainly stay outside where there is more room. It is best to go early when it isn't so crowded. They have a deep pool outside that is warmer than the main pool and kids have to pass a swim test to go in, so no little ones.

I haven't been to Scenic caves for years, but I saw on thier website that they now have a suspension bridge and zip lines.

You can walk up the hill (mountain) and take the gondola back down for free, but that doesn't start until the end of May.

I stayed at Weider Lodge in a 3 bedroom unit for a girls weekend in early December and it was amazing! The Irish pub was a blast and we really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub! I highly recommend it!

I was at that hotel 1.5 years ago and it was nice. We did the caves and the kids (age 4 and 6) though it was ok, they really liked sifting for gold. And riding the train track thing they had setup.

On the mountain there were lots of neat shops, we also went into the town and found lots of neat little places too.

The hotel was nice we had a 2 bedroom. I did find you had to drive to any returants.

The kids really liked the pool at the hotel as they always do

My husband and I have stayed at club intrawest the last 3 yrs in a row now. We go just to relax so we don t do much except walk around the village. we also like the Irish pub for wings and beer.

Pretty much all that they have said above is true! We always in the summer take a ride into Wasaga Beach, it is only about 20 mins or so away! It isn't what it used to be! There used to be a half decent waterpark there "Wasaga Waterworld" but was closed when we were there last year! There is another one about half hour away called Splash Canyon, but again geared more to kids. Elmvale Zoo is a nice, cheap zoo, and doesn't take all day. Again, about a 25 min ride or so! Alot of the little towns are cute and quaint.
Blue Mountain always seems to have something going on, so somedays we just hang around there during the day. We always stop and get maple taffy in snow, very tasty little snack! Nice area, the scenic caves, the tree top walk, the mini putt at the moutain top, are all fun things to do! Enjoy!

We stayed at Club Intrawest as part of a discover and stay package so we had to do the timeshare presentation but our room was amazing. We were upgraded to an end unit lower level. We have a hot tub sunk into our outdoor deck and a hammock outside our door. It was summer so kids enjoyed resort pool. Rented paddle boats at dock, took gondola to top of mountain, shopped the sips and enjoyed some nice meals.

Plunge is more interesting in the winter when the outdoor pool is heated and you can swim as you watch skiers coming down the hill. it is otherwise not worth the money.

Not a ton to do. Take some board games and stuff do do in the room because if it rains there isn't much to do. I saw no daily activities for kids.
