Or has any information about it? It is listed and mapped as right across the street from DL but is not a "Good Neighbor" hotel. What is up with that? :confused3

I'm not sure why it is not a good neighbor hotel, but it is literally right across the stree from Disneyland. It is a large castle themed hotel. I stayed there once quite a few years ago because I got a killer discount in a magazine. I liked it, but admit that I have never been back.

We stayed there once and it was horrible. The customer service, the condition of the room all of it. It's on our "never again" list.

Here's my list of where we've stayed. I'd like to try out the Candy Cane Inn & Sheraton Anaheim at one point also.

Since we've started taking the kids in 1996
we've done(out of the harbor places)
Hojo's-- great!
Fairfield-- not again
Carousal-- eh
Tropicana (two times)-- clean & basic but CHEAP
BW Park Place (two times)-- great
Desert (two times)-- 1st time good, last nov. ICK!
Castle -- never again
We're doing Park Inn in July

not on Harbor, we've done
Best Inn (too far away)-- too far away
Embassy (Garden Grove)-- LOVED IT
Desert Palm-- eh
Hilton Inn & Suites--too far away, but good

and DLH (two times) :cool1:

I think that's it

I went there in 2001 and would never go there again. It was dirty and customer service was just not up to par.

I stayed in HoJo last week and walked by the Castle Inn many times. I'm surprised to hear these things about it because the outside looks so cute!

What a shame. They don't know what they are missing byt not being a better hotel. Both my girls thought the outside was adorable and the name 'Castle Inn' sounds so much fun.

If you're walking by a "castle one" from Hojo's to DL you have to be talking about Park Inn, that one is rated good. Castle is down Harbor more, past Denny's and everything

Yup, you must be right. I thought that hotel looked to nice to be bad! LOL

When we went to DL in 2002, we stayed at the GC except for our last night.
We decided we'd save a few $$'s since we were leaving very early the next morning and stayed at the Castle Inn. BIG MISTAKE!!

It was dirty, the water coming out of the faucets was brown and I swear the floor was warped, it felt like you were leaning all the time.

Nevermind that this was the only place in California that we used one particular credit card. The next month, we had over $500 in unauthorized charges on the card...all from California.

We'd never, ever, EVER stay there again. We're going back to DL this summer and we're spending every night at the GC!
