Has anyone sold thier old gold jewelry lately?

It seems as if I have quite a bit of gold jewelry to part with, thanks to D-EX being a jerk and continuing to leave me with bad memories. Has anyone sold anything lately? When I sold some a year or more ago the prices had gone down. I've used US gold buyers in the past; are they still good? I do have diamonds and sapphires though and would like to get something for them. Amy suggestions?

Sorry I can't help you but I'd like to know this also. I never did sell old gold when it was high and I keep saying I'm going to but never get around to it.

I'm guessing it's sold by the gram? ounce?

Check with any local jewelry stores and see if they offer to buy it. We went to Wedding Day diamonds because they have a good rep and were offering an additional 20% more whatever you got for gold and silver. They also buy gem stones, but only a caret or larger. Got $240 from two trips there! Helped to fund our upcoming WDW trip!! I had many small chains and a couple of rings, but the one thing I got the most for was an 18 caret sweet 16 necklace charm I'm sure I never wore!!!
