Has anyone shopped at the Disney outlet sotres?

Do they have a lot to chose from or is it picked through?

There is usually is quite a bit. I usually end up spending way to much :confused3 Lots of past season shirts and usually hats and toys and christmas decorations and stuffed animals. Yup, lots of choices.

We went last time and got a slew of stuff: a tshirt for DD, DH and me for $5 apiece; a Christmas ornament for 50% off regular price; a pin for 50% off; etc.

Can you tell me where the outlet is. Is it just in Florida or are there other ones in different states? If just in FL, how close to WDW? Thanks.

I'm in Jacksonville, and we have a Disney outlet store at the outlet mall in St. Augustine, about 30 minutes south of us. We also have a Disney store at our non-outlet local mall.

My experience with the outlet store has been so-so. Shirts have really been the only things that have really caught my eye. The mall is kind of weird, too. It's dark, service is just strange -- kind of like a Twilight Zone feeling.

However, at our Disney store at the mall, the back half of the store is all clearance, and I've had much better luck at that store. I was just there last week and found a really nice denim jacket with a painted classic mickey on the back. It was 70 percent off the lowest sale price, which came out to be around $11. I'd seen similar jackets at WDW last month, and the denim jackets were between 60 and 80 bucks. They also have lots of coffee mugs and picture frames ranging between 50 and 70 percent off, as well.

HTH with your shopping endeavors :)

They just opened a Disney Store Outlet here in Las Vegas. It has a rather large selection of plush, as well as toys from past and present movies. The clothing section for children seemed small, and I was really hoping for an adult clothing section, but they only had 5-6 T-shirt styles in adult sizes. Prices were fantastic though. Easily a minimum of 25% off, to almost 80% on some items.

We go to the Disney outlets every time we are at WDW and buy our souvies there instead of at WDW except the ones we can't get there!! I get a lot of Christmas ornaments there every time I go and things for the home. And then we get clothes whatever is there that we like, some years we get lucky and some years not so much. Last year there were lots of golf shirts and my DH came out laughing and overloaded with them, but this year they were all over priced (we thought), but there are always a T-shirt or two that we can get for all of us. I can't come out of there spending less than $50!! Once I even got a beautiful Mickey watch with 3 bezels (sp?) and bands in a box that I used to wear everyday and on special occasions with the "diamond" bezel before I had to wear splints on my wrists for the arthritis!! It is a great store and definately worth the trip off site for an hour or so. Remember also that there are 2 stores one in each mall (Mall 1 and Mall 3 I believe if I'm remembering correctly!!) and each one has different merchandise, but we usually just go to the one in Mall 1 as we have had better luck with clothes and souvies there. JMHO. Have fun shopping!! :thumbsup2

We have one in the outlets here in Lewes, DE! Before my trip in July, I went there and got the misting fans for 7.50 each, in the parks they were like $15.00!!!!! I think they have a lot to choose from too! I also got a mini crayon and coloring book that doubled as a keychain which kept DS, 2 yo, busy in the restaurants in the parks!!!!!

I go to the one in Destin and it is hit or miss. This summer I did get the Tinkerbell tree topper for $15 and it is $40 at the Christmas store in DTD.

You just have to take your chances but it is still fun!

I was just at the outlet store in Potomac Mills mall, Dale City, VA on Saturday, 10/7. I love that its only 10 minutes from my house  , but my checking account hates it because I always find too much :scared: . This time is was some really cool coffee cups that had originally sold for $12.50 on sale for $2.49 and some very nice picture frames that had also sold for $12.50 on sale for $3.99. They had a lot of other stuff on clearance, too.

We shop at the outlet in Foley, AL. They have seasonal items and stuff you would find everyday. Prices are usually pretty reasonable. The major holiday weekends are the best time to go.

Hi. Just like Tink's Pixieduster said I always find plenty to buy at our store (also Potomac Mills!). They have all of the good tee shirts, and plenty of toys, etc. -Lesley

A new one has or will open soon at the Tanger Outlet in the Wisconsin Dells. I haven't been there yet.

Can you buy Disney Dollars at the outlets?
