Has anyone shared your GAD FPs?

I was just wondering if anyone has tried to share their GAD FP's with other people. There will only be 3 of us, so I thought if I could find another party of 2 or 3 either on the bus or before RD, that I might spread some magic.
How resistant will other people be?

I think it depends on whether people understand the program or not. I was traveling by myself, as I was working as a tour escort for a group. So I found members of the group to share mine with, but of course that was easier since we already had a "connection".

I definitely think it's worth a try. As you said, pick a family who you have a few minutes to chat with on the bus or in the crowd before RD. If they look at you as if you have two heads, try another! (And feel a little sorry for them for the great deal they missed out on!).

There have to be people who have read about the program and at least have an inkling what's going on. Not worth spending a lot of time trying to convince anyone, but a nice thing to do nonetheless.

Good luck - please report back to let us know if you found anyone!

Be prepared for some strange looks, if not resistance, lol. We had a heck of a time giving away our leftover cards when we went. I guess people were thinking it was too good to be true, lol. Once I found a dad who would listen, the family was pretty estatic. :thumbsup2

When are you going ? My family and I will be there 5/28-6/5..we have three GAD vouchers also..hmmm

We were behind a couple getting the day ticket with their vouchers. We told them we had 2 extra fastpass cards available. After they were waited on and got their tickets, we handed them in with ours and they got the fastpasses. Don't know if they had been familiar with the fastpasses, but after we explained them they seemed pleased. However, it retrospect it probably wasn't the best choice of a couple as she was pregnant and they had a toddler, and probably didn't get that much use out of them. But they were there and it was them or on one at the time!

As posted above, the best way is to start up a conversation while waiting for transportation to the park. A bus ride is long enough to actually explain that you are giving them a GREAT GIFT!

If you try to approach families at the entrance to a park, it can be very overwhelming. They don't know you, kids want to get inside the park ASAP, they don't understand what you are trying to give them.

I always love spreading around pixie dust. Hope you are able to make someones day a little more magical.

We will be there 6/3-6/12. We will be using GAD for AK on 6/4, MK on 6/6, & HS on 6/8.

What an awesome idea!

I will likely be using my GAD ticket to purchase an AP, but if we do the FP option we will most certainly share (we only have 2 ppl).
