My youngest ds LOVES the wiggles!! We live in the Philadelphia area and they are in Baltimore next week. The event is sold out but with a ticket broker I can still get tickets ( for a hefty price though!) Anyway, does anyone have a experience as to whether it is worth it?? Or if anyone has seen it at all ( or if anyone who knows where I can get cheaper tickets!)

Thanks a head of time!!

My family went to the Atlanta show a few weeks back. We had fun, and it was definitely geared to the children. There's enough lines aimed at the adults to keep their interest.

Best part of the show was when some of the characters came out in the audience. This happened a couple of times.

If you want a chance to get close to one of them, be sure to bring flowers for Dorothy or bones for Wags. Murray came out to collect them in our section of the audience and Capt. Feathersword collected opposite him.

Be prepared for STEEP prices in the souvenir section. Best bet would be to get some of the Wiggles coloring books at the Dollar Tree and pass them to your son while inside. That may prevent the "I want's " at the souvenir tables.

Have fun,

- Mark

We saw them in August. DD was in trance. I think she couldn't believe they were real! LOL!

I was a great show, very entertaining. Captain Feathersword was a hoot! :)

I say go for it! :D :D :D

I took DD6 to the Miami show in Oct. I thought it was a great show and my DD loved it. Keep in mind the show is only ONE hour long! She got a Wiggles baseball cap for $15. It was funny when one the Wiggles sang a line from one of their songs in the voices of different celebrities. We didn't have flowers for Dorothy but the Wiggles walked right in front and to the side of us because we had great seats near the front. Bring your camera. I forgot mine.

everyone else they are fantastic. My family just saw them on Monday night. We could have gone to Barney instead but I am so glad we choose the Wiggles. And like Legs said there is nothing like seeing Captian Feathersword doing Mic Jagger.

I took my daughter to see it for her birthday last week in NYC, she LOVED the show! Murry (the red guy) was coming through the audience and I wispered to him that it was her birthday and he made a point of going right over to her and wishing her a happpy birthday....she still talks about that every day!!

We loved it!

We saw them in August & my son thoroughly enjoyed the show. Even DH & I got into the show.

I agree with everyone else. Capt. Feathersword was a RIOT!!! We LOVED hearing him do Ozzy Osbourne, Had DH & I rolling!!! :smooth:

TWICE! Yes, twice. Last year and this year. It is a very fun show, the kids just LOVE it (the adults do, too). ;)

Captain Feathersword doing Cher or Elvis or, any of his impressions, is quite funny.

The show lasts 1 hour, give or take 5 minutes and, when it's over, it's over. (That might be a consideration to you in how steep a price you pay.)

My DD is almost 6 now but, if she wants to go again next year, I'd take her. :teeth:

Silly question for Kim:teeth:

Thanks a lot!! I appreciate all of the feedback.

Two more questions if you don't mind

May be a sillly question but is it the REAL GUYS or just like a touring company?? I heard that it isn't the real guys. My son would definately know!!

And secondly, how important is it where your seats are?? IS there interaction up and down the aisles or anything like that??

Thanks again!

Oh it IS the real guys. Except this last tour, Anthony had to stay in Oz for surgery I believe. They replaced him with the guy that plays Anthony in the Dorothy tour. They do lip-sync, sing-along tho, if that matters to you.

I've had seats close and, not so close. Both times main floor tho. Both times someone from the cast came right up the aisle we were seated on, sweaty and all! I believe they also went into the balcony, collecting the roses and bones. ;)

Try to get good seats if you can. When I bought my tickets online right when they went on sale you couldn't get main floor. It was grayed out on the seating chart. But I got in the center 3 rows up so I had the main center aisle to the left of me and a main aisle in front of me that went between the main floor and elevated seating. The Wiggles (it is really them) went in both aisles and stood near us for photos.
Don't sit in the rafters. Better to be down in the Wiggles action. ::yes::

Thanks to everyone who replied!!

I got my tickets today. We are in the 6th row on the floor!! I'm getting excited for ds ( and me too !) Its so wonderful to see your children in these instances!!

Anyway, can anyone who went tell me if they have t-shirts or the like for sale??

They had tshirts for 15.00, baseball type hats for 10.00, Feather Swords (not sure of the price) , Dorothy floppy type hats, programs and other things I can't remember...all I remember was the 5.00 cotton candy, 5.00 soda and 5.00 popcorn LOL!!!

Yes, we saw them 2x.

Last year in New Haven & 2 weeks ago in MSG, theater.

Wonderful show!

Saw them in August with my daughter and almost two-year old grandson. At first, I was afraid he was too young...but the minute the music started, he was into it - clapping, moving his arms, etc. And...Murray (the red guy) came right by us and shook his hand.

The show was only an hour long - perfect for the young ones!
