I thought the same thing, but I did really enjoy the show. Even my DH who doesn't really watch those types of shows said it was great...it really made us excited for our upcoming trip in June .

We really liked the show. We have been very critical of what has happened to the Christmas parade broadcast over the last couple of years and were skeptical about how this show would be, but we thought it was very well done and very enjoyable. While it was promotional, it did not seem like nothing more than a 2 hour commercial as what used to be the Christmas parade has turned into recently. It really was a celebration of Disneyland, although I do agree that it would have been nice to have had even more historical Walt and Disneyland stuff thrown in.

I had it PVR'd and saw it when I had the time. I agree it was well done, however I would have liked to have seen more historical Walt, as well. The kids and I enjoyed it though. Especially since we have a trip to WDW planned for early next year, and a solo trip to DL later in 2017.

I watched, but it was not what I was hoping for. Disneyland has a very rich history, and that should have been the focal point of the presentation. Instead, it was more in line with a variety show.

I haven't watched it but there was talk about it going to be about Disneylands history or a look into the past which would've been awesome, that's the sort of stuff I like about Disneyland. I heard it was still great, had a coworker tell me it was better than the Grammys. I'll still watch it soon but am disappointed that it wasn't all about Disneylands past leading up to their 60th.
