I read in Disney Magazine that the Living Seas area now has a Finding Nemo theme. It also said that Nemo will be making character appearances daily. My a 1 1/2 year old adores Nemo and Dori. Has anyone seen the Nemo character? And if so, does anyone have any photos to share. I'm wondering if she'll be excited or freaked. We took her to WDW when she was 13 months old and she loved the characters. But things can change.

We saw Nemo a few months ago when he first started appearing outside the Living Seas. He's a Large moving float like character, not a plush like character. He doesn't talk obviously, and his handlers are very close by at all times to make sure no-one hurts him. I wish I had a way to share my pictures, but I don't. There is a small floral area with Nemo decorations and bubbles that come out. Inside the living seas there is a new section devote to the truth behind the Nemo characters, with a tank full of nemo fish and other exhibits about the fish and others in the movies. It was cute to see, my son got to high five Nemo's lucky fin, but it isn't spectactular and it is all outside in the hot sun. Don't make a special trip unless you know your child will need to see NEMO.

We saw Nemo and he was accompanied by a "coral reef" which is actually a character. Here's a pic of my two boys during our trip the second week of June. :)

We talked to the handler for Nemo when we were just there and he said that Nemo only comes out when you hear them play 'Beyond the sea" and start the bubbles from the nemo and friends sculpture. So if that song isn't playing he is not there then.

Mom2R&D... great photo, My DS4 wouldn't have his pic with Nemo on our recent trip (not sure why) but he loved "Coral Reef" Just a FYI for anyone seeing these for the 1st time (there were 2 Coral Reefs out when we were there) When you see them they look like just a "decoration" but don't pass them up without a closer look.

That's a great photo Mom2R&D! Thanks for posting it. I had no idea how they would handle Nemo as a character. I think DD will love that!

Thanks y'all! :) My youngest was much more interested in playing with the bubbles that were coming from the Nemo display than actually seeing Nemo. :p
