Has anyone seen Mickey's PhilharMagic Show?

I was very disappointed in Philharmagic. It was a big commercial for all the latest Disney movies.

Peter Pan, Alladin, Lion King, Fantasia, The Little Mermaid... The LATEST Disney movies? I don't know about that.

If you say this, then I suppose the entire Magic Kingdom is a commercial for all of the Disney movies.

I have seen Mickey's Philharmagic a couple times since it opened. Once was on the first day of AP preview. October 9th I believe. It was not overly crowded, although I see how the area outside the theatre can be a problem. I saw it again a couple weeks ago. Both shows were excellent. I did feel that the second time I saw it, the show was slightly less in focus. But it could have been my eyes.

It is a great show. Definitely something everyone should try.

This is my new favorite attraction at Disney. It was so wonderful. We had no problem getting in the show. I can't wait to go back and see it 6 or 8 more time. My 2 1/2 year old DD loved it as well, she kept reaching out for things passing in front of her. It's a must see!!

Thanks,

Last week of Sept. we visited Universal and Islands of Adventure for our first time. It was a non-disney trip but we did fit in the first MNSSHP at the end of our trip (had to get our "mouse" fix ;) ).

We saw Shrek earlier in the week and I thought it was well done. The queuing area is shaded and has fans blowing. Keeps the crowd waiting for the movie out of the main traffic area. As soon as we got in the pre-show area, the kids were thinking we had better leave. All of the characters kept telling the crowd how we were about to be tortured, crying out for help or laughing in an evil way. This was nearly too much for the 4 kids aged 3, 6, 6, and 8. During the movie, they enjoyed the galloping effect of the chairs but the movie scared them and they didn't enjoy it. We didn't do it again that week but did experience Jimmy Neutron over 6 times, they loved that one!

We saw Mickey's Phil. movie for the first time during MNSSHP. No line so I didn't experience the crowd problem. The kids LOVED this movie. Their very fav 3-D feature. They were starting to think they never wanted to put on glasses again but this movie changed it for them. My DD3 had never put on glasses during a 3-D attraction before but she put them on for this one because Mickey was going to be in it so she felt safe. A crowd pleaser and really keeps the little ones in mind. We leave for our WDW week in just 17 days :hyper: and this attraction is one we plan on doing over and over again. I'm so glad the kids have found a 3-D movie they love (they hated ITTBAB and keep saying no to HISTA). AT one time I read they had planned on having moving chairs (must have been like the ones at Shrek) but there was budget cuts. That is too bad, it could have been even better but at least they didn't mess up the movie. Count us in as fans :)

A big commercial for the latest disney movies? I guess you haven't been to the movies in a long time. It was wonderful to see Donald, Ariel, Aladdin ect... on the big screen again. The show was wonderful and very magical. You will not be disappointed. :)
