At one point it was as low as $14.90 a share. It seems like a bargain price to me, but then again, what do I know about stocks.

Answer: Very Little!!!

I thought it was a steal at $16.00 when I bought it a year ago. Just call me STUPID!!!!!!!!!!

I don't own any, so I know less than you two!!!

Under $15!!! WOW. I wish I had some extra cash!

I have an automatic investment with Disney, but they buy the stock at the end of each month and it seems that no matter how low it gets during the month, it goes up a little just before they make my purchase.
As far as buying ANY stock right now... I am just too scared to do it. We may THINK that 15 dollars is as low as it can go, but at this point I don't think there is any bottom. I bought Continental Airlines when it was $48 and it is now $8.80.
I don't think there is any way that those of us who owned stock, and did not sell it 6 months ago will EVER live to see it back to what we paid for it.

As a Disney stockholder, my suggestion is that everyone run right down there, stay a long time, eat at alot on-site (of course, stay on site), and buy lots of souveniers. Good for the Disney economy! Sounds like a good idea to me!

I have a Buy order in to purchase some more shares at $12.

I'm not sure whether I hope that it does or doesn't go that low.....but if it does I'll be happy to pick it up as a long term investment at that price.

I try not to watchit too closely - it's a long-term to help with kids college - but I bought it at $44, it split 3-1, and has gone downhill ever since.

I try to do my best to help out by buying anything Disney I can (at least that's my excuse!)

I, too, am thinking about buying some more at this rate.

Zurg says our avg price is $22...guess we've lost a few bucks huh.......Oh well maybe after DIS CON it will go up dramatically.....

I'm thinking about buying maybe 10 shares for fun, I don't own any stock except for my 403 B (don't ask!!!).
I saw a business report last night that said reservations for the theme parks were "soft" and down at least 10% for 4th quarter--no wonder those AP deals are so great!

It hit an 8 year low today on a bad economic report. Attendance at the parks and resort occupancy has been down.

As for buying more DIS stock now ... not sure I would since a dramatic turnaround in attendance is probably what's needed to boost the stock price up any great deal. Too many families have been hit by this bad stock market. The last thing they may be thinking now is "let's go to WDW" unfortunately.

I'll hold what I have for now but I'm not buying more.

Let's just say my holdings doing a Nemo - under water

Oh yeah....I saw it...and I added to my position...significantly....IMHO...at that price..it's clearly a buy.....if you're window is 3-5 years +....it's a no brainer!

Yes! I saw it:rolleyes: . Bummer! DH wanted to sell when I told him about the codes for Christmas...we figured we were about to lose a little $. Things must be slower than they want for them to do the code thing again this Christmas. We decided it's definately a time to BUY!!! Disney has GOT to go up at some point!!!

The drop-off at the parks isn't helping but what you've really got to do is get every 18-34 year old that you know to start watching ABC. ;)
