Has anyone seen Dave Ramsey Live?

DH wants to go see him in San Antonio on the 12th - tickets are kinda pricey IMO. But I don't have a problem paying if it is worth it. Anyone have any experience with it? Also, anyone know where I can get a promo code to get a discount on tkts? We don't subscribe to his website, so I am not sure if there is a discount available there.

I saw him live about 8 years ago when he came to Maine.

At that time you could volunteer to man some of his booths and get free tickets (That's what hubby and I did) - you could call to see if that's what he's still offering.

Plus - doing that allowed us to meet Dave and talk to him for a few minutes.

It would have been well worth the money, but it was also only $29 each to go at that time, I have NO idea what the cost is now...

Thanks! The tkts are still $29 - but for 2 people PLUS gas (we live in Houston) it would definitely not be cheap. The plus side is that we would be able to visit with my parents and have "free" babysitting. But I want to make sure it is "worth it" to make the arrangements and go.

I would love to go, if I had the opportunity. As far as I know, the closest he has ever come to here is Kansas City. So far, not in our budget!

I'd happily pay twice...possibly 3x that...if Dave came back to Maine!!!

It will get you VERY fired up!

I remember that I met a lady who was new to Dave - she brought all 29 (!!!!!!!!!!!) of her credit cards and said there was NO WAY he was going to convince her....she left with 1 only because she was scared to close it in case of an emergency (was going to close it as soon as she had her e-fund established!).

Do go....you will not regret it. It will likely be the best "date" you have in a long time!

I agree with PP that is should be worth the $$, but you might check his website for other appearances that just might be free.
