Has anyone recently been able to use a code to book club (concierge) level?

Okay, I have to show my ignorance and ask... What is the concierge level and is it really worth the extra bucks? All the resorts have a concierge in the lobby right? So at the concierge level does this individual come to your room sit down and handle all the planning for you?

All of the WDW Deluxe properties and starting Jan. 09 at the moderate Coronado Springs Resort (CSR) offer a concierge/level level room that includes not only concierge planning, but a restricted access lounge with continental breakfast, snacks, evening appetizers and beverages. Concierge level rooms include nightly turn down service, dinner reservation assistance and a few extra "pampering" touches plus are typically on a special floor or building many with preferred views. Many guests offer rave reviews of these rooms, however the extra cost is for those that can truly afford it. There are a couple of dis board links under the resort section where guests talk about their concierge level experiences. Hope this was helpful!

We love concierge level no matter how much it costs. It's worth every penny.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Very helpful indeed, Singinglizzie... During the year I stay at many fine hotels that have concierge service but that is really for everyone in the hotel. Last year my brother and his wife (they got married at WDW) stayed in two separate rooms at the Grand Floridian she had concierge and he didn't. I knew there was a cost difference but I didn't know if there were other differences.

Due to the fact that I can't convince Disney World to expand their theming with the giant icons and such to a moderate or deluxe, I am relegated to the values until such time as my 5 year old outgrows looking forward to all the giant characters.

But with this bounce back offer, I may just have to explain how nice AKL is to her.

I was unable to use the AP rate at WL/YC or BC. for club level rooms. CM said the WL room read it accepted the AP rate on his computer, but I already knew the rate he quoted was exactly the rack rate shown on the WDW site.

Sell her on the bunk beds, it worked for my DD!

You could also sell her on the animals. That is how ds 3 convinced my dh. :rotfl2: We wanted Poly and ds made the final decision. I'm glad I loved the resort because if I didn't I would have been upset at dh for letting ds pic the resort.
