I ordered mine the other night and I'm dying to find out what's in there and what bargains people have gotten by using their entertainment card number..

Anyone done it yet?? If so, please, pretty please, share?? :)

We (2 adults) just came back from Orlando. We were there only 3 days so we used the card only twice. Once on the arrival night for a very good dinner at Baskervilles (not the show, just dinner) and another one for an Italian restaurant outside of Orlando. We checked the Wings etc., but didn't go there, it looked kind of a unappealing dirty place. The reason for not using it more was, we also had 6 Q&C meal vouchers. Next time, for such a short period I would skeep the vouchers and use only the E book. But the vouchers came in handy, we went to the popular places described on this site: Marrocan in Epcot (a lot on the plate); Beaches and Cream (I had the Classic Banana Split for desert $7.99 and that was plenty, so don't cry over not being able to get the kitchen sink - it is like 12 scoops of ice cream and a whole container of wipped cream); Pepper Market in Coronado Spring resort. All of them were very good deals.

Have fun in Orlando.

I also plan on going in Oct with the entertainment coupon. How much did the bill end up being? Did you wait long? Did you go on jazz night? What did you eat, etc, etc etc. Was the place appropriate for children? Trying to convince DH to go. Thanks!

Could someone inform me of how you get the "E" book for Orlando? We have the one for where I live but don't know how to get one for another city. THANKS!!

The site is www.entertainmentbook.com. Depending on when you are going, you might want to wait a while to buy the Orlando book at a discount. We are going in Oct, and I got mine a few months ago at 10+5 shipping. I believe it runs through 11/1, so I will probably leave it in the room when we leave for the next people. You can check mousesavers.com to see if their is any more info on the book, possibly with a link to purchase.

Frannn;

We didn't go to the jazz night. We arrived late on Sat night and drove from the Hotel Royal Plaza (very nice hotel, thank you Mary) to the Grosvenor (I am glad I canceled that reservation and changed to Royal Plaza). That was about 9:00 pm. Around that time that had the Murder Mistery show and we asked if we could go just for dinner, since the E card was not valid for the show. The dining room is big and the just dinner part is separated a little by a wall. It was Italian Night theme for the 'all you can eat - prime rib included' show buffet. We could either go for that (Ithink it was around $18-19) or order from the regular menu, which we did. We had calamari for the appetizer, I had grilled Ahi with garlic potatoes, DH had a steak, and we had a glass of wine. The food was very good, the waitress was very friendly. It was our first time in Florida - kind of testing the waters before we can go back with our grandchildren. She told us where to buy groceries - we had sandwiches for breakfast in our room everyday. Overall, after the E card deduction and the tip the final bill was about $47.00.
We could hear and see the actors mingling with the audience. It is definitely suitable for children.
Have fun

I have a 2003 Entertainment book for Orlando that I bought earlier in the year. We are not going to go back this year. :( If anyone would like to have this one for free let me know by Pm.

I just bought my 2004 edition for $20.00, but I haven't used it yet.

Thanks everyone for your interest in the E-book. It is now gone. I am sorry that I could not PM each of you that responded.

I also have this book, valid until Nov 03. I have used the Baskerville cupon and Italian restaurant cupon, north of Orlando. Otherwise the book is full. If interested please let me know on PM. I am not sure how to handle the mail charges since I have never done things like that.

I just PM you regarding the book. I'd love to have it and will pay postage. I'm mainly looking for fast food coupons, McDonalds, Burger King, etc. and Jungle Jim's.

Please let me know ASAP.

Thanks.
